mullet at night?

Can anybody tell me if it is possible to catch mullet into darkness, if so
what would be a good method and bait.
Also has anybody had any success with Gulp artificial baits.
thanks....Paul

Yes.

Very slow float-spinning with ragworm.

Also has anybody had any success with Gulp artificial baits.

Never heard of them. I dare say someone, somewhere has caught something
with an artificial bait.

New ones come along with monotonous regularity and old ones always (so far)
fade away so they don't seem to be good enough to generate regular sales...

Cheerio,

Re Gulp baits Vicky tried them for a short while during a boat trip but
they don't seem as effective as fresh Mackie strips we'll be out again at
the end of the month so they will get another try.
