Wacky Worm

Everyone I talk to lately seems to be fishing the wacky worm rig, last
week during a weeknight tournament a friend of mine fished with me and
tore me a new butt with the trick worm rigged wacky style, he used a
small finishing nail in the head. How do you guys rig your wacky worms.

I fish wacky worms (Senko or Kinami Flas) on a kale style hook with a nylon
weedguard. They fall planty fast enough and cast as far as I need to cast
them.

For a slower fall, I'll fish one (Tiki Stick) on a Gamakatsu Super Line hook
t-rigged instead of wacky.

If I am getting a lot of missed strikes I'l rub the worm down with Meg
Stike. Never have added weight to them for open water or submerged grass
bed fishing. Occassionally I'll flip them with a small bulet sinker though.

The only thing I have ever considered adding to a stick worm fr wacky
rigging is a rattle. However, if you need the extra noise you might
consider getting some Clickin' Stcks from Randy with a rattle already molded
in.
