Surf Casting Tips for Drakes Island Maine
 

Hello,

I've never surf cast before but fished for many years lures and fly.
I'm heading to Maine in 2 weeks and I'm right on the ocean. I'm looking
for Lure suggestions for either bass or blues as well as how do I hook
to the line. Should I just use like 20 lb test and/or put on a steel
leader.

What's running this time of year?
