Lake George

Well, I'm back. Did pretty good on the week with an average of about 20
fish per day. Unfortunately I also averaged about 3 keepers a day. If I
got a dollar for every 11" fish I caught, well you know what I mean. The
good news is that I did manage to catch a few decent ones and one nice
smallie, and I also put in many hours with the drop shot and jig/grub combo.
I have a much better handle on fishing in 30 to 50' of water than I did when
I went up there.
There was next to nothing on the banks, all in 25' or more. My best
fish came on a DT10 shad over 90' of water. By Friday I had a good handle
on the DS and I had a limit in the first hour, I culled 4 more keepers by
9:30 when I called it a day.
Also, while I was there I took a family out to fish. They were striking
out for a few days so I invited them out with me for a lesson and it went
well. I put them on a few fish each and the older son picked up a nice LM
in a weed-bed on a senko.

Pics are on ABPF.

BTW, I have a couple of spots to share with you Warren, if you're
interested. Contact me directly and I'll tell you what I got and where in
detail.
