Marginal Plants
 

your advice please.....

i have my own fishing lake, 100 odd yards long, 30 yards wide, along the
length it starts shallow and progresses to about 5 feet, and 3 feet, 5 ft
one end, 3 ft the other, what i need is some sort of floating marginal/edge
cover that is different, i saw some floating/growing plants at Stafford Moor
Fishery, but i forgot to ask what the plant was,
It resembles a mass of floating branches with shoots growing out of them..

Your help would be much appreciated...

And any ideas for marginal plants besides lillies, iris, rushes and reeds,
would be nice to make it look that little bit different..

The best thing to do would be to invite us all down to fish your water

I've seen a few waters with those huge plants that look like rhubarb
planted in or around them. They look absolutely fantastic with a leaf
span of over 4 ft and 7ft high you could shade yourself under them
whilst fishing. Don't quote me but i think they are called Elephant
plants.

I have seen those who like a lot of plants growing around them, look at a few rhubarb waters. They look absolutely over four feet and 7 feet high under the shade of the leaf pieces, you can go fishing, and their own good. Do not quote me, but I think they are called elephant plant.

The house is generally plate boundaries or in the shallows of your pond. Normal approach to development, they are usually planted in the disk sub-soil, but the best is to their basket. You should not be mixed in a container of different varieties.

Every pool should have a choice of marginal plants to provide beauty and color, and to assist in the asset pool. From the showy Caltha Flore Plena to the magnificent mosaic marsh Typha Latifola, there is a wide choice to suit every situation. Size of the plant is equivalent to a 1 liter pot, and roots washed out.
