Hiwassee River May Be Endangered

The Hiwassee River, in Reliance,Tn is part of the Cherokee National
Forest. This is one of the finest and secluded Trout Streams left in the
East.
There is a freshly painted aerial survey T painted in front of the
Reliance Fly and Tackle Shop at the intersection with the road leading
up to the power house.
Several folks, in Benton, at the Kangaroo Station were telling that the
politicians and the Forest Service were going to sell property in that
area for development.
There is evidently validity to this since the Bush Administration has
sold other prize pieces of our National Treasures.
The Sportsmen for Corker campaign organization is just a bunch of
Construction types and Developers according to this group holding the
discussion. Other potential developments of land along the Tennessee
River National Forests, in Tennessee are being not being talked about
for fears that it might waylay the Senate Candidate's chances. and
Since they appeared to live, in the area, I guess they know the subject.
