help finding a tropical fishing area I can afford

Hey Folks:

I'm looking for advice on affordable tropical fishing on a limited budget.
I Live in Alaska and have tired of Salmon and Trout fishing (over 30
years of it), I'm looking for a place to fish in the tropics for a few
weeks next winter when it 40 below up here .. sometime in February/March
of 2007. It would be nice to have accommodations on the beach as well.
I've considered Central America and Indonesia , any experience with
either of those ?

Any place that is warm 70 degrees in the above time frame will be
considered G ..

Thanks for your advice , as I don't get out much , 3 times in 30 years I've
gone to the states all three times for Funerals..

Southern/Southcentral Florida comes to mind. Try google.

Ask in rec.outdoors.fishing.bass.

Might want to try in alt,binaries.pictures.fishing

Bass, panfish, Peacock Bass and sal****er species are all available
and you don't have to leave the country.
