Fall Bassin
I have a tournament comming up next sun. on a 1,000 acre lake in lower
southwest michigan. The lake has clear water, max. depth is 64 ft. has some rocks, lots of weeds and nice flats. In the spring I can load the boat on largemouth in one of the channels, before the spawn. Later the flats and deep weed edges produce best. Where should I look for fish at this time of year? does the water temp. make a big difference. |

This time of year, my temp gauge is almost as important as my depth finder. I'd look for warmer water and green weeds. If the weeds are brown and dying, move on. I'd also be working wood and rocks and not expect a lot until mid-day when the water has warmed up some. -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |
