nick in flyline advice?

I've got a slight nick in an otherwise good 5-wt line. I've heard that a
drop of Aquaseal might do the trick.

Anyone else tried this or have another simple solution?

Thanks,

It'll plug the hole in the coating, but it won't provide any strength.
If it's a solid core line be extra sure the nick didn't go into the core...

Good advice, and another reason to use DTs where appropriate.
