Kerr Lake/ Buggs Island
 

I am getting ready to retire and live about 35 miles from one of the
better large lakes in south central Virginia. I own a small fish/ski
type boat... Tahoe Q4... have a small amount of fishing gear and have
absolutely no experience in fishing fresh water (Salt water only at
Nags Head surf and charter fishing my only experiences), although
recently I have a number of good reference books on the subject... I
am interested in any and all advice relating to Stripper, Bass and all
other fresh water species of fish that I know inhabit not only this
but several other local and close by lakes... what I am interested in
are factual and discussion type web sites or newsgroups that would
deal with my interests in this area... I do not intend on putting my
little boat in salt water but will instead just fish these lakes in my
area..... at least for the immediate future.....

Guess I will answer my own question since I found what is probably one
of the few message boards and fishing report sites for Kerr Dam
Lake/Buggs Island....
