Dead Chickens pattern

Hello all, my local fishing report said "Dead Chickens" were working
well at the local C&R pond. Anyone know where I can find a recipe or a
picture?

Thanks in advance...

My guess is you can get a fly from wherever your local fishing report
originates. Never heard of a 'Dead Chicken', but there is one called 'Half a
Chicken'. You can google for it.

The fly I've heard called a "dead chickens" fly is nothing more than
an oversized Griffith's gnat. Black thread, peacock herl body (some
folks rib the body with fine silver or gold wire) and palmered grizzly
hackle.
