Left handed spinning reel?
When my dad passed several years ago, I inherited a true left handed Abu
Garcia Cardinal spinning reel. The bail actually spun the opposite way from the common type of reel we all have. My left handed wife loved it. Recently I dropped it in my garage and broke the bail in an irreparable way. I can't seem to find another lefty reel besides a Van Stall and I don't want to drop the bucks on one of those if I don't have to but it will help me out to accommodate my wife as much as possible. Many of you are aware of this concept. Anyway, if anyone has a suggestion or a lefty spinning reel to sell let me know. Thanks, Rich P in NJ |

Was that a left hand 300 Mitchell? I think the lefty was a 301
They are the only spinning reel that rotates the opposite way from most all others in right or left hand model. I think when you got it in a left hand it just happens to be the left hand bail as well because they all were.
