Looks Like a Rapala, but its not.

Anybody know of a rubber body bait that looks just like a classic Rapala
jerk bait.

Its got the same profile and the same plastic bill, but its an all rubber
body with what looks like a cable through the body for the rear hook.

Its also a very slow sinker. Just a tad heavier than a suspending bait, but
not much.

The only thing I can think of is the "Charlie" by Megabait. Not sure that's
what your looking for though. No cable running through it

This past weekend I picked up a new classic rapala at the flea market.
It is in it's original box and is 18cm. It is handmade and individually
tested. It is a vintage lure. The price was cheap enough to use rather
than keep it as a collector's item. I would sure hate to lose it but I
can't resist pulling in a big one with this lure in it's mouth.

Occassionally I'll adjust a bait with suspendots, but I have three boxes of
jerk baits. Deep suspending, suspending, and floating. Realistically I'll
only need to adjust a bait if I just broke off the last suspender in the
right color, and I got a floater that is close.

I've got a box of "adjustment tools" in the boat that has various things
which does include a little lead solder, and some suspendots amoung other
things.
