Anybody have a suggestion on how to tie a 2" clouser? Go smaller on everything. ;-) Heavy, size 4-6 short shank hook. Extra small bead chain, or dumbbell eyes. I'd use finer natural hair, like yak, fox or calf tail. A synthetic like Angel Hair, Craft Fur ect... will work too. brians |

I tie 1" clousers for bluegill and smallmouth bass using rabbit fur and small brass hourglass eyes. -- "The Dream is Alive! I've been tying some on size 8 hooks for bluegills, and have caught
bass on them as well. I use bead chain eyes and fiber out of a duster from the dollar store. Green and White or Green and Yellow. Sparse is the key. On Dec 19 2006, 6:41 pm, "rusty wright" wrote: Anybody have a suggestion on how to tie a 2" clouser? |
