MONROE, Conn. -- A Monroe man was arrested Friday for allegedly
dumping oil into a local pond.

Police said last July, Wayne Harrison pumped more than 150 gallons of
home heating oil that had spilled in his basement out of his basement
and into a storm sewer.

That sewer lead to a pond next to Harrison's home.


The oil killed several fish in the pond
