New bass boat I hope...fingers crossed!

I put a refundable hold deposit on it and will test drive in a week from
Saturday to see if I want it.
It is a new 2005 Lowe 160W.
I think the price is VERY good price at $11,999.
It is a new boat, from a dealer, and all warranty's apply from purchase
date.
My research has found that most 16 footers of equal build and motor will
run at least 14,999 to 16,999.

It has the 50 hp E-Tec.

What do you think?
I am a bit excited I found this.

Well Shred, I have not been in a Lowe, but Cabela's down the road in Dundee,
MI sells these boats like hotcakes. I don't know where you live, but in SE
Mich, this would be a perfect inland lake boat. I have a 16.5 Smokercraft
which is the virtual twin of your boat and I could not be happier with it.
Easy to tow, easy to get in and out of the water by yourself, roomy enough
for partners, what else do you need?

I am getting all kinds of responses like yours on the Internet.
This adds to my excitement.
Thanks for enjoying this with me!!

I am like an anxious kid wanting test drive this.
I will in a week or so.
If everything goes as expected I think I will seal the deal.

Just looked at one on-line. Looks awfully nice. I hope you have many years
with less than average minor troubles of any boat.

Take me fishing.

For my money, a 50 to 70HP, 16 to 17-1/2 foot aluminum is about the
perfect bass boat for any of us who don't fish the major trails. I've
had the big, fast boats, and the small, one-step-above-a-cartopper
boats. Caught plenty of fish out of all of them, but I can't say I've
every enjoyed a boat as my current one (17.5 foot, 50HP alum). You'll
love it. Lowe's got a good rep, and this size boat is practical and
convenient. Enjoy it!

Sounds like a plan. If you want to head over this way an invite on the
river is also open.
