Tackle boxes

Hello,

I'm looking for opinions on tackle boxes. Just broke my old box of 20 years.
I know soft boxes are all the rage and I have two small ones for traveling
light. They are cumbersome when looking for items and I'm in a hurry. My old
hard box was great. Just opened and everything was in sight. Don't have to
root throught a lot plactic boxes to get what I'm looking for.
I would appreciate any opinions.

Thanks in advance.

I use a BPS 360 soft box. it holds 5 plastic boxes plus 1 in the
front. I use magic marker on the top of each one so at a glance I know
where everything is. Plus the 360 fits inside my boats rodlocker so it
doesn't take up any room "topside' while I'm fishing. There's also
enough side pockets to hold pliers, sunscreen, hook file, etc, etc, etc.

Not sure what opinions you're looking for. Opinions of hard vs. soft or
opinions about particular brands. Obviously, one wants to avoid any product
that appears to be poorly made or of otherwise low quality. Other than that,
as far as I'm concerned, anything you choose is OK as long as it meets your
storage and portability needs.

Hi Jim,

I find that I'm just the opposite. I used to have hard tackle boxes and now
use the soft sided models and the Plano 3700 boxes. I find that I can get
to things quicker and keep things organized much easier. I have things
sorted as to catagory, topwater, shallow cranks, deep cranks, rattle traps,
terminal tackle, etc. I have the boxes labeled and I can look at the boxes,
grab the one I want and it's all there.

Thanks for good input.
I considered BPS 360, but now I see that Plano has 2 new hybrids called
"Flipsiders"
Has anyone heard of them? They look prety good.
