shakey head rigs

It seems that every where I go, or read bass fishing articles, the
shakey head rig comes up. Have any of you guys used this rig with any
with good results? is it a good technique for post spawn fish? What are
some good jig heads and the best worms for this rig.

It's a 4" to 5" straight tailed worm on a jig head. Pretty much the way
everyone I know learned to fish worms 3 or 4 decades ago. What they call
'shakey head' style now, is what I have called 'jiggle fishing' for
years. YES it's very effective, at most any point in the season.
