Heartfelt Apologies

I want to take this opportunity to apologize to roff and
to all the roffians over the years whom I might have in
any way offended. I want to make a special effort to make
amends with Mike Connor, an esteemed and honorable member
of the fly fishing fraternity.

I am oftentimes of an ill humor and too quick with the
barbed comment and the sarcastic remarks. I will become a
man with a sweet nature and a mild disposition.

Mark this day, it will be done.

At first I thought it was the Leapfrog, but then I realized it's April
1st. Ya gotta do better, Fruitenberry. d;o)

And, you'll never match mine from last year.

Yes, it was and that is one of the reasons why I top-posted. Of course,
Kenny never sees my posts anyway.

Happy Ken Fortenberry and Mike Connor Day!

My all-time favorite April Fool's roff post was one of
Sandy Pittendrigh's I think. One of the famous trout
rivers out west was subjected to some horrible environmental
abuse and as a result it simply disappeared into a hole in
the ground. Roff was up in arms ready to write their
congresscritters and start petitions, the whole ball of
wax.

yeah, I remember that one. I had been away for a couple days, and caught the
brouhaha. That was a classic!
