went again today
 

went fishing up the mably again today, ( well, the missis did buy me a
season ticket for my birthday) so why not :-)
anyway, bit on the quiet side today, only managed to hook and land 2 carp, 1
at about 4.5lb and the other around the 7lb mark, so nothing spectacular.
caught both of the top on dog biscuit, nothing else much caught by other
people there either, so perhaps just a off day for this particular venue,
they did seem a bit "shy" on taking the dog biscuit though, no sudden rush
and screaming reels, just a sort of gentle pick up and a very slow swim off,
struck on two of them and pulled the bait straight out of the mouth, didn;t
even feel the weight of the fish on the line, they were very wary indeed.,
never mind
always another day, and at least I never blanked, god, how I hate blanking
