Lake Ralphine in case you know the lake. Powerbait. Take a couple of different colors, but make sure one is green with sparkles. Small treble hook with small sliding sinker. Berkeley makes a hook setup, buy one to see how they are. Wal-Mart carries them. Toss out with light line, 2-4# test and with a loop in the line on the rod, hang a very light weight item on the line. Maybe 1/2 oz. Then you can see the fish take the bait and start moving off with the hook and bait as the line tightens up. Also fish a worm the same way. Get a worm inflator and put a little air in the worm so it floats. After a rain, the worm should work well anywhere there is a small stream running into the lake. |
