Reading Tom's TR got my mind tuned to caddis, and from there to a pattern I
like a lot. The next step in the stream of semi-consciousness was to realize that I don't remember seeing it in fly shop bins out side the great state of California or very near it in Reno. Now, I tie 100% of my own fishing flies so I don't browse these bins that much. But I do check them while shopping to get ideas for my own production. ANYway, maybe this is a popular pattern everywhere, but I'll mention it and give it the coveted Official Larry L Stamp of Approval ... Fox's Poopah A cool looking, easy to tie, effective caddis pattern |
