PENN Generation

Hi Group,
I am thinking of buying a Penn Generation 75 for Plug and Lure fishing,
Can anyone tell me if it is any good for this type of fishing or have
you got a better reel you may have tried ,
The reason for buying is I get to much line twist with a fixed spool and
I have tried several of them all with the same problem so multiplier it has
to be.

thanks Steve...

You shouldn't get significant line twist from a fixed spool reel** so look to
your lures and especially your swivels before buying a new reel.

Cheerio,

** Yes, as you cast the line comes off the reel with one twist for every
circumference-length but as you reel it in again you take exactly the
same amount of twist out of the line - result: zero twist.

Only if the end tackle turns will you accumulate additional twist - so
check your swivels.
