anyone know best way to disinfect keep/landing nets.
mine have been unused in shed for some time and want to make sure they
are clean

If they've been 'dry' in the shed for three months or more then they will be
'clean' from a fish disease pov.

If you're a once a week angler you'll find that very little survives if you
just hang the nets up to dry in daylight - the uv kills everything in time.

What you shouldn't do is go from one water to another without giving the
nets time to dry. In this case a chlorine based disinfective works well but
may well damage the mesh. Phenolics are ok for most purposes but might be
considered unsuitable in some cases.

Boiling works too.
