What (brand) tools are these
The following is a top-knotch (french language) site.
I think this link has been posted here, in ROFF, in another context a few months back. Take a look at the following page and the click and run the flash video clip started by dry fly image whose caption reads: "Collerette en Lievre" http://ns33014.ovh.net/~dessaign/Ast...e_astuces.htm# What brand fly tying tools are those? I'm most interested in the dubbing spinner, but also the adjustable tension thread bobbin. |

Sandy, I can't help you with the dubbing spinner, but I have adjustable tension bobbins that are identical to the one shown. I don't know the brand, but I bought them at my local fly shop, which has a web presence : http://www.4seasonsfly.com/ Though I don't see those bobbins on the web page, there is an 800 # that is shown on the web page. If you describe the bobbin, Dave will know what you are talking about. He might also be familiar with the dubbing spinner. If you call and order, tell Dave that I referred you. Maybe he'll give me a discount on my next purchase. 8) Bob Weinberger |

I briefly Googled for US sources and found nothing for the spinner ( I only glanced at the first coupla-three links - you are looking for a source of (Mouche) Devaux "outils" - tools), but here is a non-US site: http://www.megapeche.com/e_commerce/...produit_id=272 and here is the first US hit for the bobbin: http://www.gillandfinn.com/flytyinbob.html TC, R |

All I know is that I would never be able to get that reel back together without having lots of left over parts!!!!
