Question yum frog
I've used the Yum and Berkley frogs and to be honest not sure which way to
hook them, does the hook go into the slot and come through the body or visa versa. I seen on Hank Parker he had it coming out the slot. Also how does the Mann hard nose hold comparted to yum and berkley? Thanks, Mike -- |

Question yum frog
Mike,
I love the Yum frog when it runs properly. I have a ton of trouble with laying the hook in them so that they run right side up and I've tried every thing except the hook Bob shows. I've used corkscrew hooks, but they still don't seem to lay right. I think it's a design problem. My hook raises up out of the slot nearly every third cast and this makes the bait either turn upside down or twist and roll on the retrieve. It's maddening. I've written Yum about it and they just responded with a texas rig canned answer. when they work they work great though. Will wait to see what others say. -- God Bless America Josh The Bad Bear |
