I am going to weymouth in august. any idea what they are catching at the
moment and any tips please

depends where you go - if you boat out to the shambles, Sea Angler has
had loads of pix of Thornies, Place etc - they all seem to come from
one boat as well :o)

Hi Toad,

Depends what sort of action you're into. Chesil during the day for Mackerel
and Garfish on the float.

Portland Bill is nice on a hot day floating with ragworm for small wrasse,
or bottom fishing for bigger ones.

For a big Bass after dark try a whole Pout on a 6/0 East of Bowleaze cove.
