flies for NH fall trout?

Hello,

I'm new to fly fishing...

I'll be fishing for trout in streams in New Hampshire. Can anyone
suggest what flies I should get for the fall?

Thanks
Hilbert

Check out www.flyfishinginnh.com. This is a great site with many
experienced fishermen whocan answer specific questions regarding the
area you want to fish.

Personally, I have always found streamers to work well in the fall in
northern New England. Some of my fall favorites are the Black Ghost,
Colonel Bates and Black Nose Dace. Before the first hard frost, try
beetles, ants, and other terrestrials. Some streams also have BWO
hatches in the early fall. Be aware that the general trot season on
streams closes on Oct 15, so fall fishing is really limited.
