SteelHead Fishing

Does any one have any suggestions to jigs or other spinning tackle for
fall steelhead in the streams of NY.

this may sound daft but have you tried the simple 'mackerel spoon' that is
used for sea spinning? it is small enough and has plenty of attraction, but
i would consider changing the triple hook that is supplied. (a little
large.)
its just an idea. i use them occasionaly when river fishing in the uk for
salmon and they work well..
(be sure it is the small sized spoon of around 30mm length)
