I'm fortunate to live in one of the most scenic parts of the country, if
not the world. The fishing isn't too shabby, either. I thought that some
in ROFF might enjoy a gallery of photos.

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen such a consistently spectacular collection
of pictures in one place before. Simply stunning stuff...

/daytripper (makes a boy feel quite small, but thanks for posting this :-)

My pathetic digital snapshots cannot compare to those works of art. :-)

Nice photos - we live in Pocatello and spend some time in Yellowstone and
Tetons every summer - may be able to get up your way now that some family
problems are resolving.

I've literally spent many months of my life within, what ? 70 miles? of
Stanley but I've never driven up there. I'll have to make the drive one of
these days.

Just don't speed while driving through town. :-)

Good advice. I once met a tourist from LA who got three tickets in two
days -- two for speeding and one for running a stop sign. The town
doesn't want to be a speed trap, but when crazy-driving city people
endanger the kids and the dogs they get nailed.

BTW, there isn't a traffic light in all of Custer County.
