Years ago I taught a guy who was in the military to fly fish and he
later spent some time in the Philippines. He might have gone fishing
there. Does that count?

It would depend...do they eat much and are they any good for catching
anything besides homos, dumbos and stockers? Oh, wait...if they don't

But I fished the FSM and Palau for two years. Somewhat close

To say the least, its "warmwater fishing." Never fished the salt.
There are fish in the rivers but you have to get away from population
centers as they do some VERY heavy subsistance fishing. Lots of
catfish.
