Hey, went to the Husker game today. Don't know what the locals are
compainin' about. They looked pretty good. 'Specially since the
backup QB (Ganz) set school records for most TD's and most passing
yardage.

So could we suspend the Bomb Throwing Competition for a bit?

This was a *huge* victory for Illinois - I mean, like, a career game. Maybe
*two* careers. Heck - it's Illinois - this could be a *lifetime* game!

I think we can allow an alumni to put a thread up in recognition of same...

Glad it turned out for the Illini. I have a nephew at OSU, but I'm always
glad to see an arrogant #1 knocked off the perch. I caught a few minutes to
see IL go up 28-14 with only 3 minutes left. Wow, I wuz thinkin' this one's
over. Then I noticed it was only 3rd quarter. Didn't get to stay for the
end, so I didn't know they held 'em off until now.
