Utah in April

Hey,
I'm considering a trip to Utah in April. I have alot of things to
juggle. My wife does not fish but loves to hike. I'm considering
fishing the Provo and possibly the Green. I also want to do some
mountain biking around Moab. Anyone here know of any good hiking near
the Green or Provo? Anyone know of any good fishing near Moab? Is April
a decent time to go. Thanks for any help,Frogge.:alien:

If you're going down to Moab, you can fish Kolob Reservoir. Bring a
float tube, some dragon fly nymphs and go for it. Then again, if its
early April, the road may not be open. Very big cuts can be had.

Utah in April

I was in Park City mid april last year for a conference and had a great 3
days of fishing. No 'big' fish, but plenty of 'em. I even got to fish in a
driving snow one day. Dress warm and watch for icy rocks.

I had the best luck with soft hackle and 20-24 nymphs. They seemed to really
like the orange partridge, YMMV. I did manage a couple hours with the dry
flys during a hatch of REALLY small cream colored bugs during the
afternoons.

This was on the middle Provo (Midway/Heber City area), which is north of
where you are planning.

Good luck.
