Exotic species

Was watching a show on TV last night about these Chinese snake fish. Ugly
brutes. Got to wondering if they are edible. Any special cooking
requirements? Any poison fangs or fins? Anybody know?

I fish out of the Pearl River in Mississippi and have heard that piranha
have been caught in the southern portion. I call piranha bream with
attitude.

Snakeheads are supposedly very good to eat, and are considered a
delicacy by the Asians. No soecial cooking precautions are needed.
