Wader suspender repair

Like an Fn idiot I closed the hatch of my jeep without looking closely
and broke the female clip of the suspenders.:dizzy::mad: They are a
pair of Simms if that matters. My question is someone told me that I
could get a replacement clip at an outdoor store like Campmoor. Will
that work or do I have to contact Simms for a replacement?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Call Simms. In the meantime, duct tape. :-)

I'd guess Simms. I can't vouch for them, but many reputable companies
don't sweat the small stuff; and they may well just send you one for
free. Call Simms.

There's a good chance that the outdoor stores won't have the same clip
that Simms uses.....I haven't seen any available that look like Simms.
If you use one from an outdoor store, you'll need to replace the whole
buckle(male & female). That would meaning more work for you. Call Simms.

Contact Holdup Suspender Company at 1-800-700-4515 and ask for a
sample of the jumbo no-slip suspender clip as these are guaranteed to
never slip -slide of pop off your pants or waiders.

That's how I repaired my clip, and it worked just fine. Simms doesn't make
their own clips, I'll wager.
