Good Grief!

I know it's been a long time (ok a VERY long time) since I last posted but
what in hell has happened to the postings on this group.

Anyway, a big hello to those that I still remember, it's pleasing to see
that you are still out there.

Regards

Sam

How's Emily? Great to see your name in print again Sam.

Blue Moon never did catch anything :-(

Hi Bill,

Good to hear from you.

Emily is fine(will be 10 in August!)and has been joined by a sister
Charlotte (4 in April).

Redundancy forced us North last year and we have now relocated to
Willaston in Cheshire so I'm not a million miles from Dave Lane and
even closer to Brenig! Lines have been very dry for a long time. I
haven't been trout fishing in over two years, though I have had some
good times in salt water (got to thank Derek for the inspiration)

Have made a promise to get out with my brother at least once a month
this year, so we will see.

Happy posting

Sam

You must have a long white beard by now Sam:-)

Best wishes to you all including Charlotte of whom we have not heard

Do you know she still has the doll. It has survived 4 housemoves and
has a URFG sticker on it.

No beard but the moustache is getting greyer and the bald spot bigger
(along with the tum!)

Emily tied her first PTN variant last week. She has had one casting
lesson and looks to have a natural talent. I have promised her a day
out at Meadow Fishery once it warms up. Might post some pics.

Keep well.

Sam :D

I still have the Blue Moon - your invention and maybe it will score
soon.

All your news is good news - great.

Best wishes

Hi Dave, I would love to. Last time I was up at Nant Francon it was
snowing and about 3 below! Still lots of good rivers to explore!

Cheerio,

Mostly Jacks off the boat but have had some small pollock from large
rockpools when I was last near Aberdaron (N.Wales)

Ideally looking to get the boat up and running again and take a few
trips out of Conway or even off the end of the Wirral into Liverpool
bay. Needs a fair bit of work mind!
