lower unit problem

I'm not really sure whats wrong, yesterday I went to the lake and
started to back my boat in and it wouldn't go in gear, foward or
reverse. I cranked it back on the trailer. I went and looked at my prop
and it was rubbing on the tab thing above. I'm not sure if someone
backed into me the last time I was parked for my last tournament or if I
slammed it into the wall of my garage. What I need to know is this
something that my insurance should cover? I do have boat insurance, and
what should I tell them.

You spun your hub and it moved to the rear when you put it in reverse.
Either replace it or take it to a prop shop.

This *might* be covered under either your auto or homeowners
insurance. You should call your agent(s)
