My 9 year olds first 2 on a fly
 

Hit the cabin below Ressica Sunday and Monday on the Big Bushkill with
the wife and little ones. Took my son out fly fishing for the first
time. Had issues casting into the current but got the mend and the dead
drift. He nailed his first trout on a fly on a size 14 prince. It was a
11 inch rainbow and the an hour latter got a 10 inch brown. I did not
help him one bit.

The hatches on the river where great. Both days at 10am like every year
a sweat sulfer hatch. I caught about 10 on pheasant tales during the
hatch and then 2 on drys at the end. Also around 2 to 5 both days a
nice Grey Fox and Cahill hatch with many fish hooked. Allot rising
around 6pm but but only one on a dry. The Caddis came off all day.
Biggest fish I caught was a 15 inch brown.

My buddy met me today in the afternoon and caught 2 rainbows but one as
a beaut 17 incher which jumped and ran him into the next hole.

I did not want to come back home but my wife who a Shore Chick had
enough and I had work. My son wants to sell the house in Jersey and
move to the cabin. He also picked up 2 more trout today on a mepps.
