Yeah, it's Fox, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist...well, most of
time, anyway...

Might you guess that apostation, real or imagined, might matter to this,
um, "Islamic scholar"...?

And to jeff - what's your legal opinion of this guy's right to do this?

And yeah, I realize that he'd probably find a reason to raise hell if a
bin Laden/Ahmedinejad ticket got 143% of the vote, but it might provide
some insight into the situation.

on a tangental note, I see that none other than Rupert Murdoch hisownself
predicted an Obama win the other
day. I was sort of surprised by that. Now, back to the wingnut in the news
story.....

Might you guess that apostation, real or imagined, might matter to this,

Hell, I'd imagine all sorts of stuff matter to the fellow. Apostates are
probably a good guess to be on the list. What I found amusing was that his
loony website drew "mixed emotions" among the good folks they asked. Well
that, and the fact that he was in the knife sales business, which was a
hilarious mental picture.

And to jeff - what's your legal opinion of this guy's right to do this?

I was wondering about that myself.

And yeah, I realize that he'd probably find a reason to raise hell if a

Here, I lose you. What situation, beyond the fact that some people will be
found that hate anything or anyone you could think of? What insights does
this guy really give us, beyond the fact that we have one of the most
tolerant societies on Earth?

like all religious loonies, he can think and say what he wants...though
i expect the fbi, cia, and secret service under the bushocracy have him
on their radar. free speech is a magnificent constitutional right, even
when the exercise is at its ugliest and/or stupidest. i suspect you
and tom would be equally amazed at some of the equally crazy rant at the
belvoir second free will baptist church in good old amurrican pitt
county, nc.

I was wondering about that myself.

tolerance ought to have been made much clearer in those ten
commandments. one of the most important of the prime directives imo.
