RIP Tim Russert

Just heard the unbelievable news that Tim Russert has died at age 58.
He was the only network commentator and interviewer that I bothered to
watch. He was a shrewd observer of the political scene, and although
admittedly liberal, I always felt he was impartial in his interviews.
He will be missed.

......sad to lose him from the political reporting scene, and so young! His
book about his father is a good read....and, of course I can't remember the
title.

He, along with Bob Schieffer, were among the _VERY_ few journalists of
national stature that I took more than about half seriously, or IMO,
even deserved the title. Politics and journalism both suffered a loss
today.

He will be missed.

Yes, he will.

But remember, there's always Keith Olbermann and Bill O'Reilly...

He was a class act. I really admired his devotion to family, and especially
to his father. RIP.
