OH boy I have been reading this newsgroup for a couple of years now and want to know - What happened to the info on Fly fishing that use to be posted on this web site?
Now always garbage or other nonsense.

What happened is that bad Mike Connors took all the fly fishing
information and sold it to some skinheads in Lagos Nigeria. These
skinheads are now willing to sell all the really good fly fishing
information back to ROFF and give a helpful agent a commission of
$300,000 IF that agent is a reliable person with a valid bank account.
As a token of trust and reliability these skinheads require a deposit
of a mere $5000 from the helpful agent in return for payment to the
agent of $300,000 for their services and receipt of all the good fly
fishing information to ROFF. You, Mr. BMJ have been selected to
receive this commission. I will pass on your contact information to a
Skinhead in your area who can arrange to receive your deposit and
arrange to turn over your commission for you to use as you please.

This is a response from another ng on coomplaints re political posts

"It's only going to get worse, as those who cannot contain their politics
to appropriate forums get more and more worked up as the election nears.
Your best bet (and this applies to ALL newsgroup regulars) is to try to
ignore it."

But there is till some good and valuable info on this group on rods, rivers
along w some great TR's and photos
You just have to wade thru a lot of other ****.
