Craigslist with good pictures is one way.

Off season is not the best time, but give it a try. If ya can't get
what's needed store it till spring.

and what are some good selling tips.

Clean it up, shampoo the carpet, wax it and shine it up. Take
pictures that clearly show the features of the boat you think make it
a good boat.

If you don't want to use your own email addy open a gmail
account...It's free.

Go onto outdoor sites that allow for sale ads and post it.

Put pics up at your local outdoor stores on the bulletin boards.

Look for a consignment lot in your area, some take more than just cars
and trucks.

good luck
Dan

BTW, what are the specs on your boat and how much are you looking to
get?

Right now, with the economy like it is, is probaby a terrible time.
Off season is usually the time to buy, not sell, even in good years.

I have had good luck using Trader magazines. Around here thre is a
"Boat Trader" that is sold in a lot of stores and comes out every two
weeks or so. They also put it on line. I always pay for an ad that
runs till it sells. - last one was about 70 bucks, if I remember
right. That includes a picture.
