You know how I feel about Labrador. I won't fish there until
the province changes the stupid guide law. And that's way more
than I spend on fishing vacations at any rate. My big brookie
dream trip is in northern Ontario. Drive to the end of the road,
paddle all the way to James Bay then have a plane pick me up
and fly me back to the car. One of these days ...

I'm up for that, and I know the river. Been all along the
Chimachouane, only need to learn the Rupert and we're there. I've
always wanted to paddle to James' Bay...what about this summer?

I've not looked at that part of northern Ontario. I did a quick
Google on Rupert River and didn't see any mention of big brookies.
I was thinking of paddling a river on the western side of James Bay.

This summer, maybe. And it'd be great to have you along. I promised
Willi Loehman (ex-roffian) a heads up if I ever found two other
people to make the trip. (He doesn't want to travel up there with
only two people and one canoe.)
