Soon to be over. I guess its possible that a slew of Obama supporters
might not turn up, thinking its a wash, creating a newspaper headling
akin to Dewey Beats Truman, so I encourage EVERYONE to get out and
vote. It ain't over until the last Chad hangs.

Take it from me, the right we have in America to rearrange our
government every 4 or 8 years is something not shared by the majority
of the world's citizenry.

The 50's? On summer Saturdays, with the apartment windows wide open,
my father would crank up the Fisher console to blast a disk-full of
Russian folk songs across the neighborhood and then see if he could
drown it out with his sing-along. He had a good time but his kids
payed for it, it wasn't a good era to flaunt a Russian origin. But I
wish I could hear him do it one more time.
