Sage advice

Well, it's been a while since I wrote you about getting a couple of my
good fly rods....and one not so good....broken into matchsticks in a
car wreck. I can no longer pull up my orig. msg. but suffice to say
that I got a lot of very good advice and ...today...am a whole man.

Long story short, I lost a Sage 5 wt. and a Loomis 10' 9wt (which I use
in Canada), along with a medium value 6wt Bass Pro rod...and reels..and
line & backing for each.

Although I had to pay a little to Sage and Loomis for
replacement/upgrades, etc., all three companies replaced the rods.
The insurance company (for the other poor guy) paid full price for all
that stuff so I came out smelling like a very fine single malt scotch.
All three companies rock!

My thanks to you who responded. I regret the thread deteriorated
a bit but it was certainly not my intention.

Canada and Montana next year!

Thanks and happy holidays.

Buff
