Buying Tackle

Is everyone finding good deals on tackle? I found 5' senko's at Dick's
sporting goods in Merriville, Ind. for $3.49 a bag, now that is a deal.
I ended up buying 5 bags of my favorite color.

I still have the best deal in town! Care packages from the kid....and he
won't even let me pay the "freight"! :)

I didn't know just how good I have it, until I went into re-new my
license, and looked at the prices on a lot of the stuff!

My neighbor caught 36 crappie yesterday in the little lake...bit bass
fishing has been a bit slow. Maybe that's because I head for a warm
house after just a few minutes of trying...it's been cold here! Did
trick a couple 3-4 pounders last week when the temps were in the 50's.

I use to live in Hobart Ind., but back then Merriville was just a
crossroads. Where do you live?
