Interesting. As big as the world is, it's still pretty small...

I actually "know" "Grampa Elliot" and "Washboard Chaz" - Elliot's corner
in the performer's mall is a block from our place in New Orleans (Note
to Tom and Ken - the guy you could hear from the balcony was Elliot). If
anyone likes his stuff, Google "Elliot Small" - he's had a coupla-few
records over the years.

I'm up at 5 or 5:30...shower and get the coffee rolling, and when the wife
and daughter are ready I whip up a little breakfast to send them off to work
and school. I had to call the wife in to show her that one...and I will to
the little one too, when she gets up.

A really neat idea, with some good musicians and some nice mixing...sound
engineers or ever what they're called...

I don't have a videoworthy 'Net connection ... but I believe from the
comments that this is the same thing I saw on Bill Moyer's Journal a while
back .... very impressive

Larry, I think the song on Bill Moyers was "One Love." By the same
outfit, Playing for Change, but this one is the first in the series,
"Stand by Me," the best one of all, in my opinion. You should check it
out when you're someplace with a good connection.

After the Moyer show I searched the 'Net trying to find an album to buy ( or
DVD) both to support them and to enjoy. I found a place to contribute but
not to purchase ... seemed very odd to me
