But are the the painting's indicative of the economic and terrorist
threats the US faces, and if so, are they
Obama's fault, Bush's fault, or Clinton's fault?

Mainly, I think they are indicative that just because one has access to art
materials doesn't mean that one should take advantage of that access...and the
fault is purely that of the respective, er, "artists"
