I know the Swift is stocked, but was wondering about the reservoir itself.

Is it (also) stocked ?

Yes. It is stocked with juvenile landlock salmon and adult rainbow
trout. Currently, due to a threat of zebra mussel infestation, private
boats are not allowed on Quabbin. Shore fishing and rental boats are
still allowed.
