Got one, have used it a couple of times, but I keep forgetting to
bring it with me. So, essentially, it hasn't made it to the point
where I know exactly where it is in my vest. They do work.

Picked up a similar one from my "still in business" fly shop.
You would not think it would work, but it does wonderfully.
I also picked up a pair of magnifying clip ons for my
glasses that I use for my flies that have a lot of
stuff right on top of the eye that makes it impossible
to use with my magnetic threader.
